Counterfeit item policy

RepSeller is a buying and shipping service. When you order through us, we buy from an independent seller in China on your behalf, check the item at our warehouse and send it to you. We don’t make the products and we don’t write the listings. We still don’t want to handle fakes, and this page explains what that means in practice.

What we don’t allow

Items that copy another company’s brand without its permission. That covers fake and replica versions of branded products, and anything that borrows someone else’s name, logo or design to pass as the real thing. Please don’t order them through RepSeller.

Signs a listing may be infringing

  • It shows a brand's name or logo, and the seller isn't that brand or one of its authorised stores.
  • The logo is almost the same as a famous one, with one small change.
  • The brand has been covered, blurred or cropped out of the photos.
  • The brand name is spelled slightly wrong on purpose.
  • The title or description uses a brand name that doesn't appear on the product at all.

If a listing looks like this, don’t buy it, and let us know.

What we do about it

  • Links you paste come from marketplaces we don’t run, such as Taobao and Weidian. We can’t take listings down there or act against their sellers.
  • We keep suspected copies out of our own catalog and out of the picks we show on your dashboard.
  • If an item you ordered turns out to infringe, we may cancel it and refund you before we buy it, or decline to ship it.

Report a listing or an item

Seen a listing on RepSeller that looks counterfeit, or received something you think is? Customers can message support from their dashboard and we’ll look into it. Brand owners and rights holders can reach us the same way; include the listing link and what it infringes.

Who is responsible for what

Sellers are responsible for the quality and authenticity of what they sell. If something goes wrong with an order, we take it up with the seller for you and help you get a return, exchange or refund where we can.

You are responsible for making sure what you order is legal to import where you live. Rules differ by country. We aren’t liable for losses when customs seizes an item or when an item breaks local law, and those cases aren’t covered by our insurance and compensation.
